Being born in this innocent world on the eve of 25th Oct. '86, by my mother, was a joy to my family because I was the first and only daughter at that time. I was brought up in a very happy family, all of us were closely attached to one another. We are best friends. Mak, you are the best. You are my everything mummy. I will definitely miss you tons. Daddy or sometimes I call Bapak, I'm sorry for everything. I wished we could spend more time together. I know we didnt talk much. I missed being your daddy's little girl Pa. 17/10/07 - remember that date dad. I love you too. Siblings - love, love, love. Along, you will hell miss teasing me, updating my resume, going to concerts and get crazy together! Its ok, you have the kiddies to do so. Angah, I'm sorry. I wished we could be like before. Diyana, Asrar, Sofia, Khaleef, this world is more than what you are seeing now. There's still lots of things that you will learn. Be good. No one will play with your hair, read bedtime stories, feed you, go swimming together, but it's okay. Kak Tina @ Aunty Na will not be able to do that for the rest of my life. Mak Cah not to forget, we've been through alot together. We cried and laughed together. LOVE.
To others,
Everytime everyone turns their back on me, when my own close circle of friends betray me, I nevertheless am strong in going through all hardships. I have no intentions of showing my weakness and sorrow to those who have misused my trust. Since I am so capable of putting trust towards those who I love, I am easily hurt in the process. As concrete I may seem on the outside, internally I am fragile at heart. For someone I dearly have affection to, I will sacrifice everything to make him or her happy, even if me at times in constant pain.
Amongst the goodness in me, I also bear weaknesses to my name. Although these weaknesses however underweigh my utter goodness, it may seem appropriate to mention. I for one thing, continue to engage in unfulfiling acts that deem to indirectly against the words of my father. As hard as I try not to, I however am unconscious of me doing so. If only I could redemp all my past actions to fit that of his wishes, I would trade everything. On terms of relationships, I am the partner who place my other half's needs in against my own and as a consequence become a victim of him to take me for granted.
Family, friends, and people who know me..forgive me for everything I've done, I've said..directly or indirectly. You know I LOVE YOU. I'm sure each of you know.

*Eulogy Speech by Soleha*
What can I say about myself? I am a student and a daughter of my parents and also a friend of everyone who loved me. I am just an ordinary person like others, who will leave this world.
I am called to share about myself since a month ago but I don’t know why, it is just today I started to do so. I still remember, when I was young, I used to move from one school to another school. Since I am the youngest in my family, I have to follow my parents each time they had to transfer to other places. I used once threaten my parents to stop my school if we had to move again and again. “Mak” and “abah”, I wanted to apologize for my behavior. At that age, it was hard for me to adapt with new environment. I didn’t mean to threat you. I am really sorry for that.
To my one and only sister, be strong!!! Take a good care of your family and your health. Don’t forget to take all your medicines. Don’t eat too much spicy meal. Promise me yeah..?? It can affect your health. Help me also to remind “mak” about her appointment.
To my “moody” bro, thanks for your support and advice in my study. Thanks for your money as well..hehe.. If you can, please persuade “abah” to make his check up with doctor. Sometimes I really worry about his health.
My cute nieces, Adriana and Dania, you guys cheer up our family. Be a good daughter to your parents and good luck for your future undertakings. Don’t forget our theme song, “senyum seindah suria..lalala..”
To everyone that I loved, this is not the moment for you to shed out tears but we should be thankful that we were given chance to be together. Here, I just wanted to share my favorite quotation from Leonardo Da Vinci,
While I thought I
was learning to live,
I have been learning
how to die.

BOSNIA(Nasra)
Bosnia and Herzegovina is located in South-eastern Europe, bordering the Adriatic Sea and Croatia. Its terrain is mountainous. The country has hot summers and cold winters; areas of high elevation have short, cool summers and long, severe winters; mild, rainy winters along coast
It geographic location has placed the region squarely in the midst of European political power struggles for hundreds of years. Racial divisions, made worse by ever-changing borders and religious rivalries: Muslim, Roman Catholic, and Eastern Orthodoxy. While Yugoslavia kept the peace under Marshall Tito (and for a time after his death, as well) the fall of Communism signaled the beginning of the end for the tenuous unity of the area. In 1992, Bosnia and Herzegovina voted for independence, but the military (of Yugoslavia and mostly Serb) refused to recognize this move and began the siege of Sarajevo. Horrific episodes of so-called "ethnic cleansing" began as the Serbs attempted to clear Bosnia of Muslims and Croats. In 1995, a peace accord was finally signed dividing the region into a Serb republic and a Muslim-Croat federation, which would be governed under the same president and legislature. UN peacekeeping has been in the area since 1995.
Bosnia and Herzegovina was a multi-ethnic society. Before the civil war the Serbs made up 40% of the country, the Muslims 38% and the Croats 22%. During the war ethnic cleansing occurred in the country and the current composition of the country is not known. Population (July 2002 est.): 3,964,388 (note: all data dealing with population are subject to considerable error because of the dislocations caused by military action and ethnic cleansing).
Population growth rate (2002 est.): 0.76%.
Ethnic groups: Bosniak 48.3%, Serb 34.0%, Croat 15.4%, others 2.3%. (Source: UNDP Human Development Report 2002--Bosnia-Herzegovina)
Religions: Muslim (40%); Orthodox (31%); Catholic (15%); Protestant (4%); other (10%).
Languages: Bosnian, Serbian, Croatian (formerly "Serbo-Croatian").
Education: Mandatory 8 years of primary school, 4 years in secondary school, and 4 years in universities and academies. In Bosnia and Herzegovina, there are 407 primary schools with 250,000 students, 171 secondary schools with 80,000 students, 6 universities in the major cities (Sarajevo, Mostar, Banja Luka, Tuzla, and Bihac) and 6 academies (4 pedagogic and 2 art academies).
Education: Adult literacy rate--male 94.1%, female 78.0%.
Health: Infant mortality rate--23.53 deaths/1,000. Life expectancy--male 71.0, female 75.0.

IRAN (Nasra)
Iran known as Persia, which included parts of Iraq, Iran has a long, creative and glorious history. Unlike many other Middle Eastern countries, Iran managed to remain independent throughout much of its history. Today it has a population of about 70 million persons. Principle ethnic groups are Persian 51%, Azeri 24%, Gilaki and Mazandarani 8%, Kurd 7% and Arab 3%. Iran is a Muslim country, with 89% Shi'a and 10% Sunni Muslims. The remaining 1% belongs to Jewish, Bahai and Zoroastrian faiths. The Bahai and Zoroastrian faiths originated in Iran. Major Languages of Iran are Persian (Fars) and Persian dialects 58%, Turkic and Turkic dialects 26%, Kurdish 9%, Luri 2%, Baluchi 1%, Arabic 1%, Turkish 1%. Since 1979, Iran is an Islamic Republic.Iran is situated east of Iraq, beyond the Tigris River, Shatt Al-Arab waterway and east of the Persian Gulf, across from Saudi Arabia. To the north, it borders on former Soviet Central Asian countries including Armenia Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan and the Caspian Sea. It also borders on Afghanistan and Pakistan in the east, and Turkey to the west. 1979 January 16: The Shah leaves Iran, as his new government can't control the situation in the country anymore.
February 1: Khomeini returns to Iran. A period of antagonism starts. Processes against the supporters of the Shah starts, and hundreds are executed. Many demonstrations are held in protest to the new rules, like extreme regulations on women's dress.
March 30: Referendum on the new Iranian constitution is held, where the Islamic republic is chosen.
November: Iranian students storm the US embassy, taking 70 people, the majority Americans, as hostages. 18 are released before the end of November. This conflict would last more than one year, and has more than anything else formed the West's image of the present regime of Iran as an anti-Western one.Iran's Nuclear Program - Toward the end of 2003 Iran's nuclear program came under the scrutiny of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). Work on a nuclear reactor to be built by Siemens at Bushehr had begun in the time of the Shah, and was nearing completion in 1979, when the revolution occurred. The Ayatolah Khomeini pronounced the project "unislamic." The Iraqis bombed damaged the Bushehr site during the Iran-Iraq war. However, Iran decided subsequently to renew the program. Nuclear power has fallen out of favor in most countries since the reactor mishap at 3 Mile Island in 1979, and more especially after the Chernobyl disaster in the former Soviet Union. However, Iranians claim that they want to develop nuclear power as an alternative to fossil fuels, citing pollution concerns as well as eventual depletion. Indeed, Teheran is very polluted primarily because of vehicle and refinery emissions. This is partly due to subsidies of oil prices by the Iranian government. Though it has over 9% of the world's oil reserves and over 16% of the world's gas, Iran has neglected its fossil fuel substrate because foreign companies would not provide spare parts and know-how following the revolution. Wells may have become unusable due to neglect. Iran still has more than enough gas and oil to meet its increasing energy needs though for many years to come.

Umi Khairani & Bosnia (by Qistina)
Bosnia Herzegovina - another country that we should take note on. Bosnia is also like other countries which have conflicts among the ethnic groups. What had happened in Bosnia was so sad, the rape cases, the mass killings, the destruction of Muslim mosques, and many more. Muslims are the majority in that country, yet other groups could simply treat them badly. The Serbs were being very cruel and they demanded greater autonomy. The presenter, Miss Umi Khairani had made her presentation reached and touched the hearts of the audience at the end of it. It was good that she provided extra sources - the books and her voice inflection was great too. She spoke clearly and people understood her points. However, she read the slides too much and to me, she was lack of eye-contact. And even though her voice inflection was good, but she spoke too fast; maybe because she was kind of nervous. Whatever it is, I'm very sure that she had done her best.Good Luck Umi in your future undertakings! =)

Chechnya & Bro Nashrul (by Soleha)
Informative speech curtain was closed by the last presenter in our class which was Bro Nashrul. He was presenting about Republic of Chechnya or known as Chechnya. Chechnya was previously governed under a regional government. However, it is now ruled in a separatist government. Chechnya claims that it has gained independent but the country is actually still under Russia controls. What I mean here is Chechnya depends on Russia in most of their decision making as Chechnya and Russia are interdependent.
The first Chechen War was occurred in 1994 until 1996. It was basically occurred because Russia forces attempted to stop Chechnya from getting their independent. The second Chechen war in 1996 was the second war stuck the Russian government accused Chechnya militant in series of bombing in Russia. Overall, the major issue in Chechnya is between the country itself and Russia and the issue is ongoing until today.
Nashrul.. I think he did quite well. Were you actually nervous Nashrul..?? Because I can see your hand was a little bit shaking. However, it was good as I can understand your presentation. In simple words, I know what you are talking about.. I just wonder, you were supposed to present earlier right? How come you presented it in the last class? I thought your are not going to present at all..hehehe.. Anyhow..congrats and good luck for everything!! Make sure you do well for our conference!!
