Review on Hugo Chavez.
Hugo Chavez is a person who is very firmed and disciplined. This might happen because of the family background as well, whereby his father and mother were the ex school teachers. A brief background of Hugo Chavez, he was born on July 28th 1954 in Sabaneta, State of Barinas. He was later on continued his studies in Military Academy with a degree in Engineering in 1975. After he finished his degree, Hugo Chavez had furthered his masters in Political Science, but according to the head of the department in the university, Chavez didn’t finish up the master and the reasons why are still unknown until now.
In my opinion of this great leader, Hugo Chavez really is one outspoken person. He speaks when he knows that he is at the right path. He puts his people in his first list to give happiness to and really against the unjust and discrimination by the United States. This is the reason why he could simply call or label the U.S President, George W. Bush as the “devil” in his speech in front of the rest of the world. Hugo Chavez has been the President of Venezuela for almost 10 years till current.
Speech.
The speech basically talks about two major points that Hugo Chavez had highlighted. The first issue is about condemning George W. Bush, the President of United States while the second issue is about the United Nations. Regarding the first issue, Chavez had mentioned that George W. Bush was talking nonsense about peace to the world. Bush could only see everyone around the world as extremists and all the U.S wants is only wars, attack here and there – all for the sake of the people in that country, the Americans. In the second issue, Chavez had argued about the functions and purposes of the existence of United Nation (UN). He could see that United Nation doesn’t have any functions because it is controlled by the powerful United States.
The Second group - presented on Martin Luther King.
About the group who presented on Martin Luther King, they started with an excellent and creative introduction. The sketch had attracted the audiences to put their focus more and it was left to them to understand the messages behind the sketch. The basic idea of the acting parts from the members of the group – Nashrul, Soleha, Julida, Tasnim, Nasra, and Eyllia - was about the “white” and “black” groups’ differences and conflicts. The African American was being discriminated and called as slave by the white people. That was basically what Martin Luther King had experienced, and later he came out with the speech titled “I Have a Dream”. That speech had been acting out by two of our friends, Nashrul and Tasnim and they had done a great job. The voice thrown was very clear and they were energetic when giving out the speech. For the rest, they had delivered their points understandably and the message had reached the people’s hearts and mind.
